CONTEST: Design the HypnoThoughts T-Shirt

HypnoThoughts member and friend Alan Barsky recently let me know that he has procured us a merchandise production company that will give us a great deal on shirts for the members here. Now all we have to do is figure out what we want on them!

You can come up with whatever you want: T-shirt, polo shirt, sweatshirt, coffee mug, stickers, temporary tattoos, etc. and play with whatever branding you want. You can use the logo from the home page banner or make something original. Make it as professional or casual as you want it.

The winner will receive a free shirt of their design as well as a ticket to the Global Hypnosis eSummit. This means the winner is getting about $150 worth of free stuff.

So break out your crayons and thinking caps and email your concepts to me ASAP by sending them to [e-mail] (don't upload them here please).

I will post the best submissions to the site for voting once we get closer.

I'm looking forward to seeing what you guys can come up with.

you´ve got almost great ideas. Hypnothoughts.com getting more and more interesting. What a pitty, that the shipping-cost to germany will be so expensive.

I'd personally like to see a polo style shirt designed, something professional for conferences. Most of the submissions have been for casual t-shirts, which are really fun too. I'm just curious if someone can come up with the polo style for variety's sake.

How do you want us to do a mug design? Do you want a rectangle (that would wrap around the mug) or do you want different angles of the mug? Also, how professional do the designs have to be? Crayon on paper and then scan it or all on the computer?

I think Scott was being sarcastic about the crayon thing. All on the computer is probably going to be the best, but some artists out there might come up with something by hand that needs to be scanned in.

ideally you would come up with the image that wraps around the mug, but we don't want to hold you back creatively. If you have an idea worth sharing, let's see it!

We've got some good entries so far, but I'm still waiting for lots more. Come on people, let's flex those creative muscles!

Are you guys more interested in:

- a clean and simple t shirt
- a fun and light hearted t-shirt
- a polo shirt
- something totally different?

Most of the designs so far are for T-shirts. If you want to see something else, let us know in this thread. You don't have to have design skills to have your say about what you want.

Turtle necks and button w/ collar shirts (w/ logo) are some additional ideas. I personally prefer a tee shirt :)

I would personally LOVE to see a black windbreaker and a hooded sweat shirt. Think about it guys, something printed on the hoods...or even sleeves :)

Just sent my (first) entry in. A polo shirt design. ;) I think it's cool that Scott is doing this, and I'm planning on brainstorming more ideas this weekend. Wish I still had my Wacom pen tablet to be drawing with, lol; trackballs are not the best for that.
