Yes. Hypnosis increases choice.

Recognizing that so often when we appear to be making a choice we are simply running/responding to a mental/phyisical pattern laid down long before. Demonstrate how tough it is to change thee patterns by just making a conscious decision to and how you can change these patterns swiftly with hypnosis and tie this into whatever subject matter they are interested in.

You might want to talk about the values we pin on our patterns of behaviour. Demonstrate how such a value however illusory can still be met while changing the pattern of behaviour.

Ultimately the book is about recognizing you have a choice, breaking free of old patterns and enjoying the detour. I enjoyed it.

Are you talking about Spencer Johnson's book "Who Moved My Cheese?" It was quite popular in the go-go 90s corporate culture (Johnson also co-wrote the One-Minute Manager). The point of the book is to flourish by learning to work with inevitable organizational changes. Unfortunately, the metaphor of rats in a maze is not very empowering or ecological for some people (including myself). Of course, if you're just rolling with the title, there are countless ways you can riff on cheese and, uh, movement...okay, maybe not countless, but imagine how surprised you'll be when you come up with your own twist on this subject as a vehicle for presenting on hypnosis.

It all has to do with state of mind, and how focused, or concentrated we are on what we want, hypnosis is a great way to achieve this for things we want...

I loved that storey great moral lesson too....

Cheers!~

In the UK? Things are different here, with the 1952 hypnotism act governing stage hypnosis and no regulation at all on therapeutic approaches maybe we can moan about our stuff and be here to help our overseas friends if they want to come here.
