Emotional release therapy

I like to do ERT on the third session with a client. The first session, I call getting to know you! In this session I get to know what works best for this client, ie is she/he visual, feeler or audient? Are they a good subject, or a difficult one, and do they beleive that I am going to help them. They get to know that what I say is true and happens. The second session I use for deeping their hypnotic state and reaffirming in their mind that what I say Happens! Then on the third session, I take them thru ERT. I make sure that I know everything I want to tell them to "get rid if." Even tho there is a portion where I allow their subconscious mind to get rid of "any ither negative feelings or emotions that you no longer need.
Usually, I get a call from the client who says, "Dr Mostman. I have to go back to the library. There are some things I want to get rid of!"
I Love Helping people!

Hi All,
Can anyone recommend a good book or articles on ERT? Is there any one in Eastern Canada teaching this therapy?

Hi Tom, thanks for your kind words. Have you had any experience dealing with ezcema? I have a client that has been dealing with ezcema behind the legs for quite some time... she is quite evovled spiritually and has looked at this on many levels from this life time to others and it just seems to be getting more and more intense what ever we do. To document what we have already done would take a book, but was just wondering if you had any successful experience with it at all?? Look forward to your thoughts, Carmel

Anne. I would invite you anywhere, as you are a wonderful knowledgable friend.
Will I see you at Shelley's in March? If you haven't already done so, (I know you have the manual) sit through my presentation on ERT, on Saturday aft. I promise to make you laugh at least. Paul

Kelly, the redirection to joy is an interesting concept. Has nothing to do with getting a new car for Christmas! I believe the reason emotions fail, and then prevail over actions is due to what the Behavioral Psychologists term "Associational Lear…

Thank you, Paul. I agree wholeheartedly with the need to redirect to JOY. It seems most all hypno paths lead to that desired destination. I love your Christmas Grief idea; I had two calls just yesterday involving that issue as this is the season tha…

Excellent point James! Spock IS "so showy" (and frighteningly authoritarian) with his techniques, and he therefore most probably DOES "give all Vulcans a bad name". As a matter of fact, his signature "Vulcan Mind-Meld" technique looks UNCANNILY like…
