Cheryl is amazing. This was the first time she ran the course as an intensive 8 day program and the bonding between those of us who participated in all 8 days was phenomenal. I keep re-reading the book and looking for new ways to incorporate imagery with my clients. I used a variation of the healing pool yesterday with great success, the client wants to change this to her "special place". What a great tool.

Soon I'll be going over some of the classes that I have taken within the scope of guided imagery, and add some details that i have found to be beneficial, all are welcome to add anything that one may feel to be relavant. ~ Thanks

That's great Jackie, I took all of Cheryl O'Neil's classes , she is just a great lady & does such justice for the field that we are a part of. ~ Cheers

I studied hypnosis through HMI's distance education program, thus much of my training was online. This summer I attended on campus an intensive Master of Therapeutic Imagery program...8 days in a row, all imagery, all the time! It was a great experience for the entire class, there was some phenomenal bonding between us. The imagery journeys made evident how much inner wisdom we each posess and can access if we give ourselves permission.

Thanks Jackie , I'm just curious where you took your classes, and if you want, I was just wanting to know if you could expound on that more here. Just for the purpose of those who haven't taken any guided imagery classes. ~ at your leisure ~ Thanks

My therapeutic imagery classes were what finally gave me the confidence that I had the tools to help clients. It's wonderful to see clients light up when they have their own journeys and it changes their thinking.
