I have stopped by a few medical and dental offices and dropped off my material. Offering to do an office relaxation seminar. Also a sheet offering small parties. Some free sessions. No response yet, but I will do a call back next week. The idea is, that if they know I am good they will refer me to their clients.

This is a great idea. Question for those of you who've already been doing them: What is your ideal head count for what sized room? And, do you limit enrollment to that amount of people? Not sure how you could specify something like that if it's not actually YOUR event the way a class or presentation would be.
By the way, do you advertise parties? Mention the option on website?
Best to all.

Very interesting idea, apart for make some extra income, you get a lot of publicity from those who attend. Glad to join this group.

I am working on standard formats to use so that parties are run along the same line each time but with different themes. Group and single work will be catered for. It is really a stage hypnosis show in the home or office.
This consistent approach will enable me to guage what is working and what is not. The approach will lend itself to constant improvement.
Another benefit is that by having a standard program rather than an ad hoc one all the important things will always be done. For example no-one will leave without the removal of suggestions they don't need to take with them.
I'll also have a checklist of things to take with me so nothing is forgotten and a feedback question sheet.
Considering having a permission sheet to use video on web site for promotion purposes
Happy trancing - Chris.

Hi, does anyone believe in signs, I was talking to a friend of mine today about coming up with ideas to bring in more money and she suggested to me to do parties. So when I was looking at groups I seen this one I knew it was a sign to join.. I am looking forward to learning new things and sharing ideas with all of you.-Penny-

great idea...parties need room enough for chairs and equipment and enough for people to sit comfortable. Nothing is worst then people sitting on top of one another when your trying to hypnotize them and you run into someone getting hypnotized. My favorite place is spacious and a room with good lighting but also space for my sound guy to hook up our equipment without being jammed in a corner.
I love when we do Universities or high schools in a large auditorium where we pipe our sound system into theirs. It's a place that is a perfect match for a great show...

Game rooms are great because they are typically large and usually have adjustable lighting that can be a simple yet effective tool for sessions.

I like the small and intimate feel of hypnosis parties. I have been a subject a some and been asked to put a demonstration on in some. In both cases the time spent was fun and enjoyable. Believe it or not there was more interaction, questions and time spent not on just putting on a show.

How many people have had, or continue to have, dreams wherein you see a dead loved one? Do these dreams bring you peace? How do these dreams help you come to terms with your loss? Has hypnosis helped in any way with these dreams?
