I've just joined this group, but wanted to say that I have had Jerry Valley's stage hypnosis training - along with the great Ormand McGill. Jerry is very generous with his training materials, and has to be one of the best in his field. I learned a lot and thoroughly enjoyed the training.

After 20 years as a professional singer, actress, dancer & songwriter, I became a Certified Clinical & Medical Hypnotherapist. It's strange when I think that was 17 years ago!!! Even stranger that I realize my former career was my preparation for this one. And I still love an audience. It's interesting that I believe I will be performing on more stages and in more media as a hypnotherapist and hypnosis trainer, only now I know I'm helping people to transform their lives. What a great world we all travel in.

Great Group. I've done a lot of Radio TV, Magazine, and Newspaper interviews all over the world during the last 10 years, beyond the desire to if it what you want to do this is the reality I found. 11 Golden Rules

1. Know your stuff, especially rapid inductions.
2. Most high rating shows radio will want you to hypnotise someone on staff to play the fool at your command.
3. Most TV will want you to give a demonstration, if its good they will ask you back
4. The pay to have a show internet stations don't have evry high listening audiences
5. Producers and programme directors are always looking for news and topics of interest.
6. If you don't know your stuff they will quickly shred you.
7. The more you do, the more you will get offered if you come across well
8. Be prepared to travel
9. The media are extremely fickle.
10. The smaller local radio stations will often give you an appearance, you need to ring the producer of the particular show you want to go on, breakfast is best, mid dawn is easiest, but you have to stay up late and the listening numbers are low.
11. They are thin on the ground, they are hard to find, they cost money. But if your trying to self promote and get known A GOOD PUBLICIST is a must, because most pr press releases you send out will go straight into the delete box or the rubbish bin, and most of the How To Books don't tell you that

Hi! I love a crowded room. I enjoy making people laugh and smile. I really should have been a stand-up comic, except I get tired. But I can talk about hypnosis forever. Is this my new home? Paul
