Hi Anthony,

As mentioned in my book, I always give a pre-talk to the client. In response to your question, I mention that we all have "parts" or developmental stages of the subconscious. According to Gordon Emmerson, world authority on ego state therapy (similar to parts therapy), we all use anywhere from five to fifteen ego states (or parts) within any given calendar week. Sometimes I describe the parts as various emotional desires of the inner mind. That usually suffices.

HI Roy,

I have been working with parts for many years but only read your book last year. I thought it was great.

What is your response to those that suggest talking about parts is promoting an idea that the individual is something other than a 'whole' and that this can be detrimental?

Hello to those on this group;

I've been offline much of the last few weeks because of the combination of travel followed by my wife's surgery...and have been barely able to keep up with the basic business necessities.

Your welcome.it's worth promoting, one of the students has already used it several times last week and loved the results. I still haven't needed to use it yet and Lorraine finds it easier to use now as she has a better understanding of it.

Hi we have just finished Roy's parts therapy workshop, everyone enjoyed it and learnt how to use a great tool in hypnotherapy when other methods don't quite hit the spot. I would Highly recommend it and it was an absolute pleasure to meet the man.
