As to Terrance B. question about increasing sales....Put your products in the front of the room, not the back. give a special price that is easy for people. I sell my CDs for $10 when I present and sell alot of them at talks.

Dear All...I find that workshops seminars are not only a wonderful way to make money working with groups, they always generate private clients. My main marketing tool is my web site. After that , I primarily market through flyers that have the registration form at the bottom of the flyer. I hire a flyer distribution person to put of the flyers. For example in the Boulder, Co. area where I get many participates for my public workshops and seminars, I pay $102 for 140 flyers to be distributed. They stay up for about 2 weeks. I get 10-15 people from the flyers. I also send out press releases to the local media.

What are some tried and proven methods for promoting workshops that get registrants?
No one seems to actually answer that question?

I am starting to do some seminars. any ideas on promotion an marketing to the general public. Tried methods that get results. Also what about back room product sales? Is there a method to increase sales that anyone know about. Thanks in advance for any information

I have just finished up with a 3 ~ day conferrence last week, and one of the N.G.O.'s involed has intived me to go to Liberia, I don't know when exactly, but I was just thinking of spending sometime their.

I was having the consideration of promotion Hypnotherapy to whatever degree, and I was just wondering if anyone here had any experience doing promo work in that part of the world, or if you knew anyone that has.

I'm going to be filming street hypnosis including fun skits, instant inductions, and even impromptu HYPNOTHERAPY sessions in the streets of Portland and possibly Seattle and Boise between now and February. Any other hypnotists want to join in the fun, let me know.

Terry- Thank you for the postings. Great idea! I have a budding seminar business but have not reached the stage of sophisticated video-taping or recording. I hope to learn the ins and outs of this so I may produce quality video and audio programs.
