This is not so much evil as funny, but here goes. When I first started learning hypnosis I would hypnotized my friends. One of them would go very deeply under, and I gave him a key word to go under. So we were at the mall one day, and he does not believe I can put him under by saying one word. I say it, he's under and the fun starts . I see two old ladies walking slowly towards us. So I tell him he has lost his pet monkey called "Mef**k" and to ask the women if they have see him. I wake him up and he goes right up to the women and asked then "have you seen mef**k the monkey". The ladies think they misheard him and ask him what he said. Again "have you see Mef**K the monkey?". Next thing I know mall security is there and they wanted to arrest him. Once I told them what was going on, they asked to see more. It actually became a skit I now do at my R rated club shows, and always gets a good laugh.

I like a little walk on the wild side, now and then. Only deepens the learning process and hence, benefits the clients in the long run. Think I'll take a peek!

In answer to your question Wildcard the most evil thing I have done, aside from stealing with hypnosis, was to give someone a phobia of plasters. They had a dozen stuck on their face at the time.

It was an experiement. It worked. I of course ensured they were phobia free and felt great afterwards.

If you can take away a phobia can you give one? Well I know the answer is yes.

i was just stating that what we are talking about here is not derren brown stuff
i did not see anything that suggests he has conducted techniques rated as "unmoral" and/or "unetchical" such as suicide script using black ops techniques such as directional sound and bone conduction

about hes status is he a nlp or magician i wont debate it he has fooled many people and i wont join them i have my own "guesses" as to what he does but nothing concrete

i see you know your stuff about hypnosis mentalism etc we have a skype chat group are you intrested in joining ?

wildcard well there was what happened to jake lol but that was not me lol

Scatterp, I am a professional magician and mentalist. Mr. Brown's methods are those of the MAGICIAN, not the hypnotist. He does, however cloak his methods in the trappings of hypnotic technique, which is part of the genius of his presentations. He has fooled not only the public, but hypnotists (who should know better) AND professional magicians (at least some of them) with this persiflage.

But believe me when I say, clearly and for the record, while he does do some suggestibility tests and such to add to the ILLUSION of him supposedly using hypnosis, NLP and persuasion science, he is really using some very old and very clever methods of the sleight of hand MAGICIAN and very little else.

Remember, in magic EVERYTHING you THINK you see is an ILLUSION.

Respectfully,

As you said, Derren Brown tricks are just that, tricks.

These are techniques to have in mind, and understand better hypnosis. I think that this group is just to answer... where are the limits of hypnosis?
