To me a master hypnotist is anyone who can applie his art in any given situation or circumstance and consistently get his outcome. It requires all of the meta skills necessary for mastery of any highly fluid and dynamic discipline, be it martial arts/combat, Healing or Persuasion and Influence.

Awareness, flexibility, precision, timing and sensitivity, just to name a few. Mastery of basics and technique is assumed, but without the meta skills necessary for the all important fluidity and adaptability the scope of technique becomes limited.

Apply the basics within the meta skills listed and a master of the basics becomes truly formidable human being in any field of endeavor or context.

Does that make sense? Its kind of late and I am a little punchy from sleep deprivation.
