Thanks for the invite. I'm Celebrating 63 today. I been studying the spiritual side of the healing arts for more years then I can remember. Maybe we can start a group interested in combining mind-body, shaman trance journey and the use of hypnosis, after the dust of the new year settles. GENE

What are you looking for on this site?
Intelligent discussion of hypnosis; tips on improving my skills; and, of course, networking with new friends
About Me:
I am a 63-year old career civil servant working in support of direct health care. I have had a life-long interest in the traditional healing arts and in alternative healing arts (including shamanic healing and spirit healing). I have also had a fascination with hypnosis most of my life. I am finally beginning to bring all of those interests together into a consolidated practice. I don't anticipate it ever becoming a full time practice but when I do retire rom Civil Service I will most likely wxpand by part-time practice.
I live in a comfortable home in beautiful San Antonio, TX with my significant other of 33+ years and a very regal miniature poodle named The Czarina.
Hobbies:
Computer graphics, reading, community fund-raising.

All, I've decided to quit smoking as soon as my current supply of tobacco runs out. I roll my own and so that means about 2 weeks as I have 2 ounces left. As payback I'll use the money saved for hypnosis training. Besides the obvious benefits of...

One of the things that's happened because I stop eating when I'm full is that my dog is really getting fat! But he's 19 years old...spends a lot of time in trance.

In the UK? Things are different here, with the 1952 hypnotism act governing stage hypnosis and no regulation at all on therapeutic approaches maybe we can moan about our stuff and be here to help our overseas friends if they want to come here.

That's right! Include my past success as a motivator. That will go into my mp3! I was working myself up to 30 minutes/day on my elliptical trainer. I'd increase 2 minutes each week. So on the week when I went to 26 minutes, I'd said to my self af...

Tip: Whether you have 100's or 10's of pounds of weight to release, break it down into increments. It's much more palatable to focus on a 2, 5, or 10 lb reduction than a much larger, intimidating figure. Once you have met that immediate goal, repe...
