It may sound a bit pious, but I love changing people's lives. Helping people quit smoking, get over phobias, restore relationships, learn to love themselves. Stuff happens and I walk away shaking my head. Wonderful feeling.

I'd recommend Motivational Interviewing. AA is actually towards the bottom of the list on effective alcohol treatment. Works great for some, but I'd got for M.I.
