Synapse said… - I trained and certified as a Hypnotherapist in the UK, where the term is applicable. (Hence me saying "back home"). In the state of Texas you should use the term hypnotist so that you do not fall foul of terming yourself a "therapist" which is technically practicing medicine (yes, I know, damn semantics!)
To practice medicine (and thereby have use of the term "therapist" you need a doctorate - PhD)
