Good Question! I "lost" the second key to our bank safe deposit box. We want to close it out but I do not want to pay the fee for the lost key. I will employ these techniques in order to find the missing key!
O would regress her to the point she last saw it. If she was the last to see it and it is at that spot she will be able to find it.

Try the ideomotor pendulum/target. Draw a circle with a bullseye on it and establish yes/no/maybe/idk and go at it.
Another method that works well for me personally is to stand nearest where I feel a "draw" and to speak out loud "Where is my_____...

I'm an affiliate of Promises, a Drug and Rehabilitation Center in Malibu and have done extensive work with addictive behaviors and relapse prevention.

You can get information in your state for the Department of Services for the blind and then work with your client on benefits and on finding his/her safe place. Everyone as you know has some form of safe place. Whenever this person becomes anxious he/she may use a trigger to access the safe place and calm down. With the incentive work and benefits work the person will get through this process. Grieving is paramount. Let this person grieve.
