Together we make our hypnotic skills stronger with support, practice and advice from each other. We conduct skype conference calls to lead each other into trance, talk about techniques and anything hypnosis. Members of any skill level may join.
Erotic hypnosis as in sexual/relationship dysfunction treatment? Or erotic hypnosis as in the fetish? (I'm not familiar with hypnotists in the Irving area, but I may be able to find a lead for the former.)
I love psych research, but the lack of detail in these artivles is always so frustrating! I feel like I can;t really evaluate this article untill I know what their definition of an "unattainable goal" is. Is it getting a 4.0 GPA? Becoming a doctor...

John's point about expectation is really great here. In that video you linked to, it's clear they had all been sitting in the room watching this guy trancing around with folks, so she was ready for that to happen.

Experimentation is a good thing. You learn first hand what works and what doesn't. Make sure you ask the subject what they experienced, for both failures and successes. They are your experts.

My Story
I'm planning to use this site as a kind of easily accessible diary of experiences with and thoughts about hypnotism. As can I. However, some techniques I was originally taught in class were specified for only pain of a non-medically assignable cause. Needless to say, I have also moved on since then.

Not in my experience -- I find I can help people take the suffering out of their pain no matter what the cause--

Some pain removal techniques only work for psychosomatic pain and not pain with a physical cause.
