Some really interesting pointers to body language - but ultimately (in Hypnotherapy or Homeopathy) if a client is describing a symptom with a hand gesture its a good idea to ask what that gesture means to them ... when you get down to the level of bodily sensations your getting to a very unique expression of how that symptom affects them personally.
(I use the Sankaran method of Homeopathy, which requires a deep understanding of the sensations - we are finding that where the symptom is dynamic you always get a hand gesture).
