Instant Inductions, youtube and the Destruction of the US Economy
While I wasn't paying attention last week, my youtube videos hit another milestone. My videos have now received over two million views. So as I considered this event, I began to wonder, "How much time have people spent watching my videos?"
Given the fact that my videos average about 2 minutes in length, that means that 4 million minutes were spent watching them, assuming people watch them to the end.

Signs of Trance
According to legendary hypnotist Dave Elman, there are five signs of trance that can not be faked. One is eye flutter. This usually occurs during the early stages of hypnosis. I have posted a video example of this here:

I'm still working out the logistics of how to show one of the other signs of trance, namely "body warmth". Maybe I'll need to find a thermal camera. :-)

An Interesting Hypnotherapy session
I was working with a fellow last week who was "having trouble going for it." I regressed him to find out where he got the belief that he wasn't good enough and he went back to the age of five when Mom told him he wasn't up to snuff. I invited him to have a conversation with Mom, but the conversation took place in Finnish! I don't know about you, but my Finnish is a little rusty. :-) Somehow we got through it.

Yes! I am the same Nadeen. I educate during my shows, and I run seminars. I have people constantly asking me to do private sessions on the ships and because I would never have the time to hypnotize everyone I always refer out. I direct people to the NHG site as well as educate them as to what to look for in a hypnotist in their area. My shows are very entertaining but what I really do is use stage hypnosis as a platform to get people interested enough to use hypnosis for improving their life. Please send my best to your clients!

The car was packed and we were ready to leave early in the morning for the drive to Seattle and with a check of the weather we found that I-5 was closed due to flooding. Same for Amtrack. So we missed it.
But since we had planned to be studying Conversational Hypnosis during that time, it's exactly what we did. My wife and I studied Igor's entire course from the CD's I had purchased some years back and had not found the time to get through. It's a great course.
It was my best option for not allowing us stay in a disappointed state. So we made ourselves happy and learned quite a lot.

My first induction was at Starbuck's. Good friend...arm levitation induction...I had never practiced it before and seeing his hand begin to lift blew my mind! After a momentary panic, he had a great journey and I had the fever!
