But being at a private military college has never stopped me from practicing the art of hypnosis. I am a Certified Consulting Hypnotist with the NGH, alongside my younger twin brother Ian Patterson. I enjoy primarily using instant and super-rapid inductions with a reasonable success rate, entertaining my fellow cadets.

Norwich University chooses to train its future leaders by using recruits as guinea pigs. Each rookie platoon is given a set of corporals (second-year students) to practice cadre staff positions (Platoon Sergeant, Staff Sergeant, First Sergeant).
